Advantis Success at the Credit Today Awards 2013
Date 15/05/13

The Credit Today Awards is one of the biggest credit award ceremonies of the year. This year the 14th Annual Awards ceremony was held on Thursday 9th May at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and was attended by an audience of more than 1,500 professionals from the industry.

A total of 180 nominations were received for the 23 award categories with these then shortlisted to 133 finalists. A panel of senior figures from within the credit industry judged each entry on its merits, whittling down the entries to a further shortlist for each category and then to the eventual winners.

Advantis had two of its collectors, Jonathan Gibson and Shazia Hassan shortlisted for Commercial Collector of the year and Consumer Collector of the year respectively. This is a fantastic achievement in itself, given the intensity of the competition, but we were delighted when Jonathan was awarded the Commercial Collector of the year award. This is nothing less than Jonathan deserved and both he and Shazia have worked tremendously hard over the course of the last 12 months. The judges commented on Jon's achievement stating, "Jon showed good performance in the key metrics being assessed for this award. The supportive collegiate piece really shone through. His role model work and behaviour towards others was good."

Mark Webb, our Chief Operating Officer added "To have both Jonathan and Shazia nominated for such prestigious awards is a great achievement and demonstrates how strong their performance has been over the course of the last 12 months. This success reflects both the professionalism that they apply in their day to day roles and the support and hard work of the staff around them. Congratulations to both on their achievements".
